Default transmission sound

hey guys i just got a tranny swap and its making a whirling sound like
"who who who" a little faster than your heart beat but not extremely fast.

i had a engineer check it out and he said the differential in the transmission, the bushings inside where it turns the gears is making a sound.

it shifts fine and i dont notice any slips. just changed bearings.

has anyone heard of this problem?

If this condition exists with the engine idling while parked (and the car isn't moving), then it is not differential bearings.
When (and how) does this condition occure?

this only happens when i "gas" the engine. lately in the mornings, when i wake up early for school *6 ish* the tranny slips a couple times and is fine for the rest of the day.

is it possible to fix transmissions?

Diff bearings or Transmission Bearings (itself) makes whirling/humming noise if it's toasted.

Once again i will ask; is this when it's in gear moving?
Or will it also do it while it is in neutral/park?

So when there is load on the drivetrain. Def sounds like diff or trans bearings for me if it's coming from that area. Yes it is fixable (bring it to tranny speacialist and get them to replace the bearings duhh) but weight up your cost to buying another tranny from wreckers.
