Well, let me start off by saying they call me OdeasZzie... I'm 20yrs old and I love/cherish my vehicle. I've been in the Honda game for quite some time now, but unfortunately this is the 1st build thread I'm creating. I will be looking forward to the questions, comments, and or opinions posted on this thread. I work extremely hard for every part I purchase for this project, so sorry if a few updates may take longer than expected. I'm dedicated to working on my Ek, and I don't condone to doing half ass jobs.. As some of you may know I got rid of my 91 Honda Civic Si and decided to start a new & more sophisticated project. The Victim: • 1997 Honda Civic Cx • 97xxx original miles • Currently the 2nd owner. • Purchased Summer of 2007. Below is a picture taken about 7-8 months ago just to give an rough idea of how far I came along with the build.. SO BE PATIENT, STAY TUNED, & BE SURE TO SUBSCRIBE!!!! I'm currently building it as we speak, but i can still update u guys with a few things i've P.s: Due to my financial crisis this may more than likely be a low budget build so keep an eye out for a lot of DIY products. done to it so far. (BTW THIS VEHICLE IS DAILY DRIVEN!) UPDATES: Updates will be fairly frequent so stay tuned and keep an eye out for more. There will be LOTS AND LOTS OF PICSZ!!!!!!! The day when i picked her up... the previous owner got side swiped and the driver side rear upper control arm was damaged.... which was why the wheel is angles like this.. I began cleaning up the bay a little.. CTR shift boot Picked up some 00 gsr front seats. thanks to 845Wheels! The cancer.. Replaced passenger side toe arm.. I decided to cut the springs until i have enough for my suspension.. Penetration gotta love it. Refurbishing a few things.. Installed smoked tail lights. Ctr wing with led lamp. Off with the old.. On with the new.. Before.. After.. Gross.. Much better. Picked up and installed my B&M short shifter. Thanks to Chris D. for the sweet deal =] Also installed the type r front lip. Finally got my Oem SiR headlights from passwordjdm.. Engine bay before.. After a Lil cleaning =] Thanx for viewing.

AND THEN THE UNEXPECTED HAPPENS.. A CRASH!!!!!
Some old man, paying no attention to the road while driving cuts me off at an yield sign! leaving my car in critical condition mean while his vehicle is fine and is in perfectly running shape..

But hey, at least i was safe to say no one got injured.

The damage that was inflicted on the car

-Driver Sir headlight destroyed
-Driver window shatters
-Front bumper cracked
-Driver fender damaged
-Windshield
-Airbags
-Driver side lower control arm bent
-Damaged hood

This surly wasn't nothing that would be able to stop and make me give up on my build, instead i seen it as a way to properly and fully refurbish my Ek hatch. So i began taking her apart immediately after the incident.

I decided to bring the hatch to Tony's Auto body. Tony is a good friend of mine and gave me a great price to paint the complete car.

Once at the shop i began taken the car apart...

I used Duplicolor semi gloss black spray paint and gave it about 3-4 coats

thanks. i been asking around for so many days, whether to buy satin or gloss black for wiper. Factory wipers colour was gloss black?

im not quite sure, mine were an ashy black due to the sun washing them out

I will have 2 sets of rims for this car. Currently i have a set of 15X8 BBS Rs rims that im refurbishing.. im also gettng some low offset Enki 92's for a real good price, for the BBS rims i will be goin with stretched tires, for a stagered wheel look. ill post pics of them as soon as i take a few.
