changed cam plug now car is missing?!?!?! please help

changed cam plug now car is missing?!?!?! please help
ok i changed the cam plug on my 01 ex, now i have a miss on the cylinder closest to the timing belt, changed the coil packs around to see if it was that but still does it, have a check engine light on. is there any way we can check the codes with out a scanner? im really stumped this car is my daily and im screwd... some one please help

Timing correct. Make sure the belt didn't skip any teeth
