i suppose type r subs are okay for a daily setup, personally if i wanted a "daily" setup, i would choose jl audio, that is my personal opinion though.. being there are now over a thousand audio brands out there it seems.. your going to get different opinions from everyone.

I had 2 12's in my civic, they can handle more power then rated. Get the right amp and they should sound good...

We sell these things all day everyday. Great sub and can handle all the CLEAN power you can put to it. The down side is their depth if you are trying to save room. I have one in my Explorer with a Focal amp on it and works great.
