Nice find. Who's car is it? Yours or your girlfriend. Let her post the updates. Its always nice hearing from women who have project cars.

Yes I do realize it's your girlfirends car. Have her register so she can have a screen name. I know a few women with EF projects. It would be better to hear from her. No offense.

9/3/09: Well today we finally caught a break in the weather on one of her days off, where she could actually work on my car. Didn't do a ton but am pretty happy with what we did get done. The rear interior of the CRX was stripped to be cleaned. Any piece that has carpeting on it will be going to my friend who did the other pieces to be steam cleaned and dyed if need be. The rest of the plastic pieces received a good ol fashion cleaning courtesy of Armourall orange wipes. They were cleaned front, back, every little knoock and cranny was touched.
Got all the interior pulled out of the rear: ![]() Rear speaker covers could use a good dying: ![]() The dirtiest piece of the interior but not for long: ![]() The rear stripped of all plastic pieces and carpet. Look what was discovered under it all. Luckily there is no rust at all!! Also notice the stuffing on the sides, it had black mold growing in it: ![]() All the stuffing removed from interior: ![]() Ah the plastic sure did clean up nice, her mission is to have one of the cleanest CRX's out there. I will post more pics of this tomorrow when better lighting is available: ![]() Oh and just to tease my fellow CRX owners, look at those unbroken heater controls!!:

thats a great find and not to much work to make it a great honda but i wouldnt of put a stock gsr in her i would put a b16a1 in it with a lsd tranny i would restore that crx back to when it came off the assembly line JDM is always win but good luck that gsr in the crx is a monster my first EF had a b18c1 with a lsd tranny all motor only thing she had was type r cams and pistons was bored out 4:1 headers and catback exhaust gsr axels and 4 brake ls disc brake conversion was pushin around 225hp and 195lbs of torque so watch cuz FF cars with over like 200bhp lose traction to the wheels in a dig

First off thanks for the comments. However **** a b16!! Torquless pieces of shit lol. I had a b16 in my eg hatch and it didnt go anywhere til 6k rpms. I also highly doubt your GSR made 195ft/lbs dyno sheet/vid or fail. At 225hp which I don't even believe, you would be more close to 150-160ft/lbs. Funny how people think by putting Type R pistons and cams in their B16 or GSR that they are making more power then a actual Type R...it doesnt work that way people. Your not going to gain 50+hp by swapping pistons and cams into an otherwise stock car. Stock GSR's dyno in the 130-150whp range depending on condition of motor, so your claiming to have gained 75-100whp by changing pistons, cams and a header? She is now thinking bout going built turbo D anyways so we'll see over winter. As for losing traction over 200hp, that is and isnt true. Hell i've seen 90hp EF's spin through 2nd and 3rd so it really isnt about power its more about suspension, traction bars, tire and driver. Next update will be tonight after interior pieces are cleaned up

8/3/09: Today more interior pieces were dropped off to be vacumed, steam cleaned and dyed. They turned out just as good as the others. I only have pics of the rear speaker covers and storage compartments at the moment, the big cargo box is getting another coat of dye in the morning cause it was pretty nasty.
