Default my daily

i've had honda's w/swaps and what not, but i never really went all out before. i might have with my 92 hatch but it got stolen right after i finished it.

but through out the whole time i had daily driver 98 ex. swapped out the upper tie bar and headlight baffles, fenders, hood, grille, bumper to a 99-00

a year ago i dropped my motor in.
b18c (p72) w/lsd from hmotors (great place to buy from *thumb up*)

motor is in, ran like a champ but i switched the intake manifold to skank2. (fullrace manifold was a lil too much, ran weird on stock ecu)

i wanted everything to run good before boosting. not chasing problems or making it more difficult then it should be. so i pieced everything together for my turbo setup and enjoyed my new motor in the meantime.

got bored of the yellow vcover also

it took me six weeks to get my peakboost manifold, but it was really worth it.

i made my own dump and down pipe. you don't haft to buy a 350 or 400 dollar down pipe. i test fit everything needed on my spare block, made cuts were i needed. i takes time but it's cheaper and i prefer to do things myself for the most part.

38mm flange i can clock the dump pipe were i want it.

obd1-obd2 adapter clips tied up so they are not laying around. i don't like sloppy wiring.

i took a y8 throttle cable bracket, sectioned it and welded it up (painted black) so the throttle felt better. gsr bracket sucked

i took the reinforcement bar off the car so i could hollow it out. i didn't want to because it's an important part for the intrusion factor if in an accident but it wasn't happening. so i chopped it up and painted it. i removed ac and power steering also. installed manual rack and spline fitting from a cx (thanks whitey's wrecking!)

i test fitted the bumper cover a few times before final welding. i see alot of people cutting out their bumper covers for the intercooler piping. if you weld brackets to keep the intercooler close to the radiator core support you won't haft to chop up your bumper. if you have fogs and want to keep them you probably need a backdoor intercooler i think.

i bought a 3in flex section, two bungs for my senors (wideband , o2) and a port for a egt. i also bought a section of 3in from autozone to finish my dp. but all this was fitted on the car. if you want to save cash or do it your self, test fitting is the way to go especially with the sensors, if you put them in the wrong spot they could hit your shift linkage or mid shaft (if you have one). if you do make a dp and dump , make your dp first then your dump so they don't conflict. the front part of the down pipe was metal finished , self etch primed and blacked out with engine paint, scuff the paint in between coats if you want to do this your self.

after trimming the front bumper out on the inside were the intercooler piping goes, it was prepped for paint. while my bumper was in the paint shop i was pulling the tranny out to replace the stock clutch. (it didn't take long for that to go) i installed a competition stage 4.

if this helps anyone out, cool. even any input, cool.
my set up is

peakboost ramhorn mani
tial bov, tial waste gate 9lbs spring
t3/t4 57 trim
hondata intake manifold gasket and s2 im
rc 750's, walbro pump
itr cams

no times, no dyno ....... yet
