Search. It's been discussed before.
Can't believe people can get annoyed so easily by that beep for "driving for a second" without a seatbelt.

Hey if dude wants to take his seatbelt off don't bash him. Always seems silly to me why you don't have to wear a helmet to ride a motorcycle in PA but you have to wear your seatbelt.
I wear my seatbelt but I think if you don't want to you shouldn't have to.We do not live in a free country anymore! The insurance companies bone you up the *** for your premiums, so if you wreck and need medical attention that's what you have your state mandated insurance coverage for.
And why do you need uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage if it's illegal to drive with out insurance.. It's all an effing raquet!

As someone who has been in a serious crash without a seatbelt, I don't understand why anyone would drive without it on.
It's way cooler to be alive than dead.

I always wear my seatbelt, and I make anyone who is riding in my car wear it also.
The law helps people remember to wear it. I don't care if they do. I reckon that the stupid impoverished demographic is more inclined to not wear their seatbelt. So hopefully more of those people will die instead of be just seriously injured and having their healthcare paid for by others; it would be good for our economy.

Just showing how many people die a year in car accidents in the US.
Better safe than sorry in my book.
I don't care if you wear you seat belt or not.

I can respect that. I just dont like people bashing other pll for not wearing your belt. It is 100% the drivers choice!

Re: how do you disable seatbelt chime?
Not wearing a seat belt is not the smartest idea so maybe that's why people don't want you telling people how to disable the beep. There is a reason that beep is there: to remind the dumb ***'s that forgot to put it on.
If you get in my car you will wear your belt or walk.
But it's your choice in the end.

I agree that it is your own decision whether or not you wear your seat belt. You shouldn't be forced to be safe by buckling up unless it has some sort of impact (direct or indirect) on the safety of others around you. Don't buckle up if you don't want to and let evolution take its course (survival of the smartest in this case).
All that being said, it is my opinion that you should ALWAYS buckle up when driving no matter how far or how slow you may be driving.

Re: how do you disable seatbelt chime?
I bought and own the car so if I want to disable the chime it's my perogative.
I've seen what IRONWORKER does and they are nuts! I don't know what scares those people! Clemsonhatch, ironworker would beat your *** if you told him to walk! haha
All you pole smokers forget that untill you pay my car payment/insurance or healthcare premium you don't get to tell me or others what to do. Trust me if you are draining the system on life support they will pull the plug. They even pulled the plug on the one retarded lady.
I wear mine. Not hating just saying.
Then maybe they should put a chime at McDonald's when you've ordered to many big macs and large soda's and you need $1000 dollars a month for diabetes medication. Those fat asses need to disarm the chime cause they can fit in a Honda seat with the belt on. THey make me sick when I see fat people stuffing their faces while they drive, with their fat backs and fat faces!
