JDM Engine Zone, Clifton NJ

my friend blew his H22 in his prelude and is seeking an H23A VTEC. a JDM engine dealer in NJ called JDM Engine Zone is selling a long block for only $1,000.00 and change. has anyone dealt with this place? are they reputable? ive never heard of them. i bought my engine from JDM Engine Depot.

you need to check out jdmenginedepot.com, they are in kearny, NJ and they sell legit motors etc...

can't really help but I got my gsr from jdm engine depot also around 3-4 yrs ago and its still running good, and I"ve put some pretty good mileage on it, prob around 50k.

Any reason he doesn't wanna go there, is the price diff that big?

ive heard some bad things about Jap Engines. ive been there before though that place is huge!

he said ended up buying the motor from engine depot. ive actually heard some bad things about jap engines.

yea. i mean ive have really no problems with my H22 from engine depot, but im sure there has been some others who have had issues. my friends H23A VTEC is so minty looking. im jealous.

Japanese engines SUCKS! I called about a month ago to get a price quote on two GS-R swaps and he told me they only had in stock one ITR swap, one GS-R and two B16's. What a store, huh? lol

I guess the "operation" went to **** cause a month ago they didn't have squat! lol plus, they wanted to ***-rape for that one last GS-R swap. They wanted 3,300 for it and when I called the guys in Clifton; He told me they had 10 in stock and told me 5,000 for two swaps. You cant beat that at all.

They don't have much on their site, true. But when I went there with Alex (slamaccord) to buy both our motors, they had a **** load of them. Pretty big stock.
