Re: Girl in need of help, Will 2008 SI Sway bars fit a 2008 LX ??
Honestly, if a 2008 Civic (no matter what model) is that sloppy on the road, there is probably something wrong. There is a difference between the LX and Si, but the LX still handles a lot better than a minivan. Maybe you should make sure something isn't broken first.[/quote]
From the day I test drove my 06 EX Sedan, in Feb of 2006, I thought that it handled like my 1964 Oldsmobile. And that car handled like a boat on the road.
Changing lanes on the Interstate, in my EX is scary.
Last year, I test drove and bought an 08 SI Sedan. I have ordered the Progressive Rear Sway Bar for my SI and will reuse the 17mm sway bar from the SI on the EX. I ordered the 2 "L" brackets and new bolts, for the swap.
I might order an SI front sway bar fro the EX, later.

Re: Girl in need of help, Will 2008 SI Sway bars fit a 2008 LX ??
As the title says, my car is currently sloppy as hell on the road, feels like a minivan. So i want to put sway bars on but i noticed they are only made for the 08 si, does anybody know if they can fit an 08 LX ?
And also does anybody know where to get the F/R set thanks.

The DX will also need the endlinks, but the endlinks from the LX/EX and be reused on the SI Swaybar. If you buy certain competition swaybars, ie... Comptech, you will also need different endlinks.
Swaybar:
For the rear of the LX/EX
Honda part#
52317-svb-a01 = right rear "L" bracket 1ea
52318-svb-a02 = left rear "L" bracket 1ea
93401-10020-08 = bolts-washers 8ea
52308-svb-a01 = bushing holder made of metal 2 ea
52306-svb-a01 = bushing holder made of rubber 2 ea
52300-svb-a01 = rear spring/Swaybar 1ea
For the front of the LX/EX
Honda part#
51300-snx-a01 = front sway bar 1ea
51306-snx-a01 = front sway holder bushing/rubber 2ea
You can verify these numbers at acuraoemparts.com and at hondapartsdeals.com
Enter the 2008 SI Coupe or Sedan as your car, then scroll to the rear lower arm and click.
For the front scroll to the knuckle listing.
(The SI Coupe is designated by svb and the SI sedan is designated by SNX, but they are the same suspension part.)
Then choose the car that you want to research parts for as your LX. Compare the parts in the picture and you will know more about the "L" brackets. The LX/EX parts are designated by sna.
When I move my rear SI swaybar over to my EX, the "L" brackets and bolts need to be transfered also. So, how am I going to attach my new Progress Swaybar to my SI??? I have to buy new "L" brackets and bolts.
The Progress Swaybar comes with the rubber bushings and metal holders for the bushings, and reinforcement plates, but no bolts/washers.
Then I will take the 10mm EX swaybar, grab it by both ends and tie it into a knot.
Another way to get the rear and/or the front swaybars as a kit is to go to collegehillshonda.com and select civic accessories, then 2008 SI Sedan, and then scroll to Exterior and you will find each kit for sale. The shipping charges are a little higher than the place that I by my honda and acura parts from, bernardiparts.com

Dont waste your time with strut tower bars. Most race cars dont use or need them, street cars DEFINITELY do not need them.
Swaybars are great, it's probably not worth spending the money on SI suspension when for the same money you could go aftermarket and end up with something better.
PS You cant post "girl" in the title and not post pictures...

Towards the bottom of the following link, on page one, you can see why you need some reinforcement for aftermarket suspension kits:
http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/excelerate-performance/72903-rear-sway-bar-reinforcement-brackets-06-civic.html
Here are some other helpful links:

Progress swaybars are 22mm and are available at:
progressauto.com and excelerateperformance.com and they come with the reinforcements.
