Hi, hate to reopen a 2yr old discussion, but did a search and this discussion came up. Seems most of the cars being discussed are early 90's. Would the same fix apply to a 2001 Accord? At a little over 10 yrs, all the electronics seem to be failing:

* Stereo totally conked out about 6 wks ago
* The 1,2 fan settings conked out 2 wks ago
* The AC has intermittent fits--sometimes have to bang the panel for the AC to come on (did same thing to stereo til it stopped working altogether)

So, for the fan, is the 2001 accord similar to the cars discussed here? Find the part at AutoZone (there's one about 1mile away), and remove the glove box? I'm hoping the other things are simple fixes as well.

sounds like in addition to the resistor you have a wiring issue.

Yes, it will most likely be the blower resistor, [most common problem when one or more, but not all blower speeds stop working]

Yours is a little diff. and is mounted at a diff. spot, under the blower housing, #7...
