I have a squeaking noise coming from the rear of the car. Usually happens when I go over bumps but does not happen every time I go over bumps. Sounds like its coming from the rear doors / Rear tires. I have a 1997 civic lx.
Any idea of what it could be? How to fix it? Any help would be appreciated. |

Any modifications? Check all the bushings in the rear suspension arms. Bounce the car while its parked and see if you can hear the noise. You could try loosening the suspension bolts, then compressing the suspension with a floor jack and retightening, this reduces binding of the suspension bushings.

Its a little hard to tell by the picture but thats the bushing in there correct? Because if so they all seem pretty worn out to me. Some of them look cracked / torn.
