Spoon Sports Exaggeration?

Anyone pick up the latest copy of Super Street? (June 2009.) There is a small article at the back of a Spoon Sports 1985 Honda Civic "E-AT". It has the ZC engine from Japan, and with only a "straight pipe-exhaust", a "custom header", "NGK spark plug wires, and a "Keihin ECU", Spoon claims it makes 230 hp @ 9800 RPM. A stock ZC makes 130 hp!!! That sounds fishy to me.

Even if they are rating power approx at the flywheel, that still seems WAYYY to high. I just read upon that information and thought I'd get some opinions.

What do you guys think?

when they say custom header, they probably mean turbo manifold.

I am not stupid. If you read the article, the last page has a small section called "Fast Facts", and under "Under The Hood", it clearly says "NATURALLY ASPIRATED".

...Really tho, I would think they raised the compression, the redline, or did some major head work.

Are they using the brown top ZC?
