I have a similar problem...my car was fine when I parked it this morning, no noises at all I got in it just started it up and when I went to pull out i pressed the clutch to shift into first and the clutch made a terribly loud grinding noise and the ebrake light came on at the same time as well, I figured its the TOB but why would the brake light on my dash light up??

My 99 civic ex makes this like grinding noises in 1 and 2 gear! But not wen is parked or in neutral! Only wen I'm on drive! But if I hold the clutch it goes away! And setimes wen I take off make this weird noise! If I let go off the gas n then go again it come off! Help?
