Default crv with civic coilovers

ok so my brother banged out at 100+ mph down the freeway. hes fine but his 00' si was absolutly destroyed.(NOT PARTING THIS CAR OUT SO DONT ASK) im gonna be using some parts off of it for my crv. my question is has anyone ever done ek sleeve coilovers onve crv shocks. i saw the one guy on here put accord coilovers on his. if no one has any feedback when i get the parts im think im just gonna try it and post my results.

this is my second crv. the first one i had i had civic coilovers on it. the back was turned all the way up and the front was all the way down for the crv to sit level so id say dont do it unless you dont want adjustability.

do you know if any other civic suspension will work. i already getting his T1R exhaust, dc 4 into 1 headers and spoon kevlar intake elbow. and if the steering wheel isnt bent im getting that too. he has a civic typer swaybar but i dont think it will come close but im gonna throw it up there and try anyway. maybe strut tower bars are close.

ive used a civic coilover in one of my previous suspension combo,
but its from an EG.. from what i know they can be used for EK,
i liked it but mainly im concerned about the weight issues..
our V is more heavier than an EG, plus i dont wanna bust my showa
struts/shocks..LOL! i did use a omni springs.. all were assembled together
coz my omni coilovers were already busted and the showa, i bought it from
a surplass parts in my country, we just assembled it here..

if you have a spare oem civic suspensions, try it first for a hundred of miles,
if it didnt get busted or no issues, then put on the civic coilovers!!
im looking online for a decent set to experiment on, but still cant find one..

good luck!

dont worry about it you were stating your opinion. which you are intitled too. if i think something isint gonna work i would tell the person. im tryin to decide if im gonna try his koni shocks too. i know i ca only use the fronts but i afraid that they may have taken too much of a hit. the car was standing on its bump and was dropped down on its wheels from standing position.so im wondering if they were compressed too hard. i guess ill have to test and find out.

I'm rockin DC2 coilovers on mine for well over a year on the stock KYB GR-2's and I've had no problems. Handles great, and the response is good too. Not bouncy at all. But its also not slammed to the ground. Just a moderate 2"+ drop in the rear and I believe 3+ in the front. The key is getting a camber kit and a professional alignment - or you'll ruin tires every month.

oh yeah, that is a spoon kevlar intake and it sounds f**king sweeeeeet!!!!! nice throaty sound. i also just took out the enormous air box that was behind the front bumper. and put in a k&n filter to top it off and its perfect. im just thinking of running some kind of hose down into the front bumper so im not just sucking in engine bay air.
