I was thinking about bringing my car down for a shakedown but electrical deamons are haunting me. Anyone with spark chasing abilities shoot me a PM.
I'd like to get out there.

99% chance it is the ignitor in the distributor.. (if there is no spark)

Here is what i have so far. car wont turn over.

Checked the main relay not it...
fuel pump ok ,relay good. No starter solinoid click. (starter replaced twice already)
Clutch interlock switch not connected it has a (push start button) so I need to track down interlock wiring to see if its come undone.. Or rather how would it need to be connected to bypass the switch and let the engine fire?

the clutch switch thing is always conected and disables the car from starting. Once the clutch is depressed it is disconnected and the car can start.

So unplugging it is just like depressing the clutch...

if you have the long-acre PTS switch panel, check the wire on the switch that comes from the ingition switch (the toggle with the red cover) OUT to the momentary switch.

I had that wire just stop working randomly. the connection looked good on both ends but continuity test showed it wasn't working...

Did it work previously? Or did you install the start pannel and stuff stopped working?

Get out the voltmeter...

Check to see if you have + coming into the ing switch, + coming out of the ign switch, +coming into the push to start, +coming out of push to start.

If all of that checks out. Go to the starter. The wire that clicks the starter over is the butt connect one. Push the PTS to ingauge it and see if ur getting +at that.

Wiring isn't that difficult to figure out. Esp if its a power or ground thing. Voltmeter is your friend.

Changed out the Odyssey battery with one in my De La Sol this morning...
I suspect the voltage was a might low after all this mess.
Now I at least get a click on the starter solenoid but no turn over yet.
its getting close.
It could be the wiring from the on/ off switch to the starter??

if you get a click that means the PTS and switch are working.

Check the battery positive too see that you are getting 12volts to it. This might be the cause, if you recently put in a kill switch.

Problem solved.
Engine ground from the tranny to the chassis.
Its too late to make the trek to Fontana but i still might show up and harass you all.
Thunderhill is coming up and I'll be there all weekend for sure.

Thanks Brian for all your expertise and help.
I owe ya!
