My turn signals will not blink. So i suspect it is a relay. but i am having trouble finding it in my car?
In the fuse cluster there is a spot for a big relay and it is labeled "turn" There is no relay plugged in there. In a diagram i got off the internet of all the fuses it says that that slot is not used? At the auto parts store the guy said that the relay is built into the turn Switch on the steering console? I don't think this is right? Where is the relay located on a 94 del sol si? Last edited by courtney42; 02-16-2009 at 11:48 AM. |

bump:
I went to honda today and they said it would cost 90 bucks to look at it. The relay is around 100$ but they could not show me on the computer where it goes. Looks like its in the vicinity of the fuse block but the computer doesn't show if it is on the fuse block or loose next to it plugged in line. I will be mad if i could have fixed this myself. you know what i mean? I have not taken it in yet though. Any one have any ideas? |

what year is the car, also the easiest thing to do would be to take out the relays you suspect and google the code on it it will tell you what it's for. On my 93 the turn signal relay is on the upper right side of the fuse box. That is ridiculous they told you that much it costs like ten dollars at autozone. They may not have the exact same one but they can give you one that will fit and work correctly. Do your hazards work, also are you sure the bulbs aren't bad.

In my first post i have stated it's a 94 si. lights come on but stay on without blinking, no hazard blink either but it is the same relay controlling both so . . . \
The price was at the dealership so maybe autozone would be cheaper alt. I got under there with a flashlight and found two huge relay boxes to the left of the fuse block under the dash. It might be one of those two. I will google the numbers and see what comes up. I was also had no brake lights come on either, but while i was under there i noticed the whole brake light switch is missing. Might have killed two birds with this one. Can anyone confirm the location of the hazard/turn signal relay on a 94 si? [edit] Found it! Any one looking for the same information: On the 94 del sol si the turn signal relay is behind the fuse block under the dash. It is the far most left of the three relays under there. The other two are fuel / computer & master relays. Damn they hid it well enough. Why not put it on the fuse block like it is labeled to go.
