I just finished painting my engine bay. I ended up adding a pearl coat, so basicly a 3 stage paint job. I first sprayed the CBM base coat, then sprayed a white pearl coat I had left over from another job, then put about 4-5 layers of clear...There are a few minor spots I probably could've done better, but its the engine bay and no one is going to see it unless if I pop my hood

Here are the pics, so enjoy

Base Coat

Cup of white pearl

Pearl Coat

Clear Coat

Cruddy, its about to be winter time and all that new paint is going to get the worst of a PA/NJ winter. I want to go to Florida for the winter, lol.

Word, the weather here is nice for the time of year. the other day it was at 83 degrees or so. Kinda miss the winter temps from PA, was born and raised in Allentown. For some reason i love the blistering cold lol.

Its not a rattle can job at all. Its actually a stage 1 paint I picked up that is designed to come out flat or with a matte finish.

I primered my brake calipers and getting them ready to paint. I'm just not sure what color I want to do yet, cause I have a few different colors left over. I don't want to do red, cause I'll be doing that for the RHD. I'm leaning toward Blue, Gold, or even the same color as my car

Actually if you have one that would be great... I missed lunch.

I thought the whole point of this thread was to "get cookies".

And I know there's no point... I was bored.

Nice grammar btw.

Think I figured out what to do as far as my prelude goes:
•Buy 5th gen with JDM H23A blue top
•pull the H23A out
•drop said H23A into my 4th gen
•DD said 4th gen.
•assemble AEBS H22
•drop into said 5th gen
***learn to weld
•weld T4 tubular manifold + downpipe together
•slap a mother ****ing BWS366 on
•hook up the hondata
•make a badass 5th gen to represent the west coast because my heart is with 5th gens

damnit i really have to get active on my eBay account even though im gonna pay an arm and a leg. It seems like selling only to honda-tech and other enthusiast forums doesn't catch as well as posting up on a massive site like ebay. Time to sell out the thousands of dollars of crap I've accumulated over the years.
