Icon7 My Build Thread....IT RUNS

I don't want to start a flame fest, but it does fit, everything is bolted in, the only mod we had to do is notch the oil pan in around the subframe. Transplanting a swap out of an Accord into this. Car went 11.70's before in the Accord, now the motors built, 100 more whp and a lot less weight.

Now keep in mind we are not done, the motor is mocked in, and a few issues are being resolved, next is the fuel system. I'll try to keep it updated as it's progressing, looking for 500-550whp in this chassis.

This is a street car

Discuss.

they are custom mounts, used another mount kit and cut it up for the bushings. Basically made all the mounts to bolt in as the stock ones did. Do not think we will have to use a front mount, well, not at this time anyway, but that may come after. No modification to subframe or chassis so far, except removing the ears from the front mount. Radiator will be a half rad on the passenger side, lots of room. I'll keep things going as they progress. Thanks

i would do a side mount manifold like the peakboost one and maybe some sort of a 1/2 rad. all in all its sweet bat not street legal as for as the laws go because its an older motor than the chassis but sweet none the less. i hope those welds on the mounts are just for fitment purposes and will be finished.

how are those axles gonna line up and hold up to the power? (PIX)

what are you doing for comp? since the civic chassis has the obvious wiring loopholes

Gotta love the tree huggers and their rules. Someone tell the government to leave us alone. Please.

We don't have those legal issues here in Canada, can put any motor we want in the cars, and no emissions testing where we are...FTW

We are going to be running a half rad, the mounts are rough now, but trust me, even now, i wouldn't be worried about them, but there is a lot of finishing to do before powdercoating.
The intercooler will be a backdoor fit on the drivers side to retain the washer bottle. As for the computer.....we will be running two in the car, the original and P06 with ECTune
