Hey guys. Couldn't really search for the topic (since search still sucks).
Does anyone know how to remove black scuff marks on your car? Say you got in a little fender bender and the other car's bumper left long black scuff marks on your car (no scratches at all). What products will remove those scuffs? I've gotten almost everything off, just a few stubborn marks that won't come off. Also, some of the marks that I managed to get off left a stain. Anything to remove those stains? Thanks in advance.

I just went out and bought a box of these after reading online that people have used them. I looked on the box and it said not safe for vehicle exteriors. Have you seen any damage to the paint from using one of these?

Just apply rubbing compound with a damp microfiber or terry cloth and buff it out. Wax the area afterwards. Should look brand new. |

Get paint thinner.
Pour paint thinner onto a rag. Use rag to wipe the scuffs off. Wash the area with soap and water immediatly after wiping the scuff marks off. Good to go. |

Exactly, and if you don't want to go buy some, use toothpaste, it is similar enough in compound to take something like this out. The neighbor kid wrote all over my sisters car one time in crayon. I was there for hours =(.
