R.I.P WES HESS--DSM fabricator and racer
UPDATE:
The funeral service for Westley Hess will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009, at 2:00 pm.

Just got word that Wes Hess was in a car accident. He was the passenger of a turbo mustang that lost control, then crashed into an on comming car. He was pretty big in the DSM world and had a 8 Sec. Talon. He was a really cool guy, I worked with him in the 524th Fighter Squadron. The driver of the mustang is still in bad shape... Please say some prayers for him.

Wow.. I just got a phone call about 20 minutes ago with the news. I am deeply sadden. Wes was definitely a pioneer in the Import scene and paved the road for many people. I am truly blessed to of met him a couple times when he lived back here in PA.
His family, friends, and the victums of todays events are in my thoughts and prayers.

RIP, been a bad few months. One of our customers was shot at a stop light a couple days ago by a random shooter that shot 4 people.

I am a member of Wes's Family. I am writing to inform you that Wes has not passed on. He is in critical condition in the hospital and your prayers are much needed at this time. We thank everyone for their concerns.

this is wes hess's brother. He is not dead...he is still holding on and needs your prayers!!! Please keep praying. This is a difficult time for our family...and we need all the help we can get. Thank you everyone who has offered their spiritual help. We all appreciate it so much. God bless.

OP please confirm your news before posting them, but we understand the concern that any of us can react fast to an event that's horrible... i REALLY wish recovery fall upon your Brother prayers from the other part of the world goes to him...

Joe Kanser (one of the admins over there) has set up a donation account to help out Wes's family anyway we can. Here's his post over on the other forum:
I want to request donations to assist the Hess family during this most trying time to a separate account. This is purely voluntary but I want to ensure that Wes' family and his medical bills are addressed. Now I know we won't put even a dimple in them, but right now every little bit helps and he really needs us, along with our prayers. I believe we're a tight knit family here and even though times are tight for everyone, every little bit helps. Send it to jkanser@bellsouth.net for paypal or email me for sending checks, etc. Let's do our best on this guys. God bless and Merry Christmas.

We wanted to thank everyone for their prayers at this time. I just saw the donations site posted and we thank everyone in advance for them. I want everyone to know that each and every day that has passed we have found more positive signs of hope with his condition. Certainly he is still in very critical condition and all prayers at this time are apprecieated. Our family has hope, it is the time of season for miracles.
