What is the best way to remove clear coat?
Yeah I'm getting ready to prime but i have to sand off this clear coat is there a faster way right now im wetsanding with 600 but its very slow and tedious. can i just go down to 300 since im going to prime over it? Or will this effect the end results?

did you do any research at all ? if your gonna prime the car, hit that mess with some freaking 80 or some 120, itll tear that jank up, you need a way lower grit than 600 to even think about laying primer. You need a minimum of 320 prepped surface to lay primer. if your going to be using 2k urethane primer, go ahead and hit that jank with some 120, the primer will have no problem filling that in and youll be able to block it down and itll be nice and smooth. no wonder its taking you forever, 600, jeezuzzz....i woud have done quit by now......please tell me you have a d/a and arent trying to prep the car by hand for primer ?.

belt sander with 50 grit and a heavy hand stop when you see sparks

WOW! Wetsanding with 600 is about the LONGEST method of removing clearcoat I can think of :p
Use power tools (air or electric) with some 80 grit. Why do you need to remove the clearcoat to prime? Something isn't adding up here....
