Default what distributor to use for a dohc zc motor?

i am planning on getting a new distributor for my dohc zc crx dx. but do not which one to buy from advance auto? the one on my car is somewhat modified a little and would like to purchase a new one. i can not pass emission, just wondering if the distributor is the cause. on my car the distibutor is pushed back towards the throttle body side and held with a little make shift bracket on the location where the base of the distributor matches up with the head. is this retarding or advancing the timing? man i need help to pass emission or else dmv is going to fine me.......sucks man that is VA for ya.

yea 87-89 integra is it. but dmv wont pass your motor cus its not the right motor for the car youed have to go through state ref but you can pass with new cat air filter o2 sensor and get the timing right

most states don't have any sort of ref, so its probably not an issue.

Here in Ft. Collins, CO, we don't even have emissions tests.. I could run a freakin tank engine and they wouldn't care, as long as i paid my $28 bucks for registration..
