Completely, totally different kettle of fish. If that's the kind of thing you're after, you shouldn't even be thinking about the Accord.

x2, you might as well go for the RL; I could imagine wanting the Accord if you're looking for a G35 sedan, but not with the M45 in your sights.

The M45 was priced really well but had some issues the dealer wasn't willing to deal with. She has chosen and we're getting the Accord we're suppose to pick it up on Tuesday and I'll post some pictures then its extremely clean.

I had a 6MT 03 Accord coupe. Fast as hell, but man was it a BOAT, and to the front wheels with no LSD. But I think the Accord 6MT sedans are indeed pretty hard to find (mostly because no one wanted them )

I got my 2003 Honda Accord Coupe V6 6speed for 11K with spolier and OEM front lip with 110,XXX miles. Not bad. It was stickered at 13K traded in my 98 Accord Coupe V6 and walked out the door with the new accord for 8700 Awesome car with a nice little punch to it Good luck with the new car. Its great.

I own the 2007 4DR Accord V6 6Speed!!! And it's awesome....
In September of 07, my crappy VW Jetta died so I decided to go to my local Honda dealership for something reliable. At the time the new 08 models were just hitting the lots and the sales guys were pushing them hard. I told the sales guy I wanted a stick and sedan sedan (I used to drive an 89 Camry 4dr in stick and loved it- I'm tall). The sales guy told me that the 08 sedans didn't come in stick with a V6 and that I could do an 08 4cylinder sedan in stick but would have to order it...
I walked around the lot for about an hour and way in the back was my baby. It is silver with black leather (no navi) 6 speed manual with 4 doors! It has the same red V6 badging as the coupe and the dual exhaust. It had 90 miles on it and I couldn't figure out why it was still on the lot! I drove it and had to have it... The sticker price was 27995 and I was able to negotiate down to 25000 and had the dealer install the fog lights....
I have only seen this car on the road twice, one black and another one just like mine... The wheels are different from the 07 V6 autos... The wheels on the 6 speed are like the 07 Acrua 3.2TL except there is the Honda H in the middle instead of the A...
I am really considering parking it it a garage because of how rare it is... Unfortunately I cannot afford another car...
This car is a blast to drive and even more fun with the VSA turned off....

great car !!
july of 07 i decided to drop by the honda dealership because i saw online that they had a 6spd manual accord on the lot. got there and they did not have it and i wasn't remotely interested in the automatic so i started to walk out...the sales mgr stopped me and said that he could get one delivered the next day. i was skeptical and couldn't really imagine that i would even be impressed with the 6speed but he was insistent so went back the next day. i was very impressed with this car even after driving the altima 6speed sedan. they seemed to be about even in performance but all the things you hear about honda were obvious to me -- better brake feel, better handling, much better shifter and to my surprise -- better price. i didn't have to negotiate -- just under 25K loaded but minus navigation. i was so impressed i purchased it immediately. funny thing -- i found from the paperwork that this car was made in late 2006 and apparently was just sitting on the lot for 3/4 of a year. it only had about 40 miles before it was delivered to me so i know it wasn't used all that time -- i guess there are alot of folks like me who had no clue how great this car really is.
i did have the 3rd gear problem but that was fixed under warranty this past summer. i get 25+ mpg in the city with spirited driving !! This midsize sedan seems to have so much and simply cannot be touched for under 25K. best thing is the 6spd 4 door is quite rare -- you can tell one by the red V6 logo on the trunk -- this is the only difference.
i have been back and forth on the internet about 0-60 times and i have yet to take it to the track for a quarter mile run. but i firmly believe that this car will do 60 in 6 seconds -- right at the redline in 2nd gear. it's faster than my old taurus sho and supercharged grand prix by far.
it's definitely a bargain basement performance sedan. i am so glad i got the 2007 model because the 2008 are boats !! and honda may never make a 4 door with the 6 speed again so i feel very lucky.

I had some numbers I found not to long after buying mine, but I don't know what I did with them. They are rare and didn't account for very many of the V6 sedans produced. I want to say less than 5%, but I just don't remember and wouldn't feel right saying that's anything more than a guess right now.
Definitely a fun car to drive. I really wasn't in the market for a Honda, but a Volvo S60R. Couldn't find the one I wanted with the options (6spd, colors, interior color) I wanted at a price I was willing to pay. The deal I got on the Accord was too good to pass up. $23,600 in October of 2007. Invoice on the non-navi models was something like $24,810.
