Hey Honda people... wow i havent been on honda-tech in years but now im back... in black i should say haha... anyway the specs of the car are

1999 Honda Accord Coupe EX V6
62,500 miles
clean title
is in COMPLETE mint condition
The seller is asking for $8,000 which I personally think is worth it.





I put a $200 deposit so my mechanic can check it out, but it looks to be running good.

Any input you guys might have would help a lot....

PS: damn i missed honda-tech, i used to frequent the prelude forum years ago, and im sure i will frequent this one too.

Well just make sure the tranny is good and the service records are up to date. Good luck with the car.

Also, review the Maintaince Reciepts (Repair Order Copies) and make sure the Timing belt has been changed (Time rather than Milage interval). That's an expense you don't want to deal with right off the bat.

Other than that and the afore mentioned Trans issue, the car's pretty much bullet-proof

Im having the car inspected by my regular mechanic before i buy it, he's very experienced so im almost certain he would detect a tranny problem. if he gives me the OK im gonna buy it..

btw how can you tell if the tranny is good or not? i did feel a slight bump when it shifted into 3rd (its auto) on my test drive but it was very minor.
