Help with ABS intermittent ABS light.
Hi guys, trying to diagnose my Dads '97 Accord with ABS. I've removed all 4 ABS sensors cleaned and replaced them. I've bled the front brakes, and will be doing the rear once we've got replacement bleed screws.
Is there a secret to bleeding the actual ABS unit? Is ti possible? The ABS light still comes on when youve been driving for a while and stomp on the brakes. It pulses a bit as well under light load. any thoughts?
Thanks for the help.
Ryan

Yes it is possible to bleed the pump/accumulator unit, there is a nipple fitting on it you can attach a tube to it and catch the old brake fluid into an old oil bottle.
You'll need a really tiny funnel to keep the ABS reservoir topped off.
Don't fully open the bleed screw [HIGH PRESSURE]
Turn the key on to repressurize the pump unit, between draining/bleeding.
Brake pedal pulsing under a light pressure is probably not the ABS.
I would think warped rotors the most likely cause.
Remember brake fluid will eat paint, clean up any spills with brake cleaner spray ASAP

It would be nice to know the code that gets set when the light comes on, I will say that the problem fixes itself so it self terminates the light, I would guess that it is pressure related, not WSS related.
