I recently picked up a 90 Civic Ex as my college car.
Its got the pimp Red interior In the future FUTURE I would like to swap it all out for black interior. I have seen in the past 94-01 Integra Seats in the Civic front and back!! I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this swap. If you have, how high did you sit in them? Hopefully lower! Thanks, Shane Modified by vtecn8ive at 11:42 PM 10/13/2008 |

i got a 91LX with driver side 98 gsr seats. all bolts in but the rear left bracket sticks out by an inch i uses a fat washer and a open end lug nut with a extended 12mm bolt. took out the gsr buckle and used the 91 sedan power seat belt and buckle had to drill the holes bigger inorder for the 17mm bolt to bolt back into the gsr seat. so yes im using 4 bolts if you want DA seats just use your ef brackets.

I'm pretty sure thats for the Crx/Civic hatch and thats with the seat pan swap method. I was actually trying to avoid the seat pan method, as I've done similar before.
In the past i've installed Del Sol seats in Civic Hatch (ef) and I actually ended up welding and test fitting etc. I just want something simple this time around. |

did the crx seat with sedan brackets cut n weld, don't recommend eventually it'll break plus they sit closer to hand brake. power seat belt rub against both upper seat and lower.

In the FAQ it looks like most of the guides show swapping out the seat pans, just transfer the foam and fabric onto your original seat pan. I think this will work for many different seats, however I remember hearing the integra's backrest is at a weird angle or something after matching it to the civic's seat pan?
Anyhow, I want to find the seats out of an 88-91 Prelude (Si?), I like their style and they feel nice to me! (pretty good side bolsters from what I remember). |

I actually have a spare set of Prelude seats out of that year you are referring too. However, they were intended for a Civic years ago and have been sitting since. I'm debating trying to get them to work in the Sedan or not.
