sedan gas tank?
whats the difference between a sedan gas tank and a crx gas tank ?
Im running short on my budget to finish my 91 b16 sedan and I got a hole in my gas tank. I have someone giving me a crx tank for free but when I check online the part #'s are different but they both hold 12 gallons I have a crx hf tank (8 gallons) on my 88 hatch and it bolted up fine. Any one know about this before I waste my time on something that wont fit ?

Re: sedan gas tank? (BoostedEF)
if ya have a hole in your tank your gonna have to remove it anyway. the crx tank should go in, and if it doesnt hell it was free right. have ya tried to call honda? they should be able to tell ya if there was a difference or not.

the difference is the location of the fill spout (not sure if that is the "proper terminology") the hatch tank won't work on a sedan and vice versa.
