check you temp SWITCH. it should be a one wire switch on the head. disconnect it and see if fan turns on. i've never actually tried it on mine, but most cars kick the fan on when it is disconnected. the true way is the check for power at the fan, when higher up in temp. if they are both kicking on w/ ac on fan does work, but make sure power is there or not.

You can wire up a fan to an alternate power source so the fan turns on when car is on.

then we'll just bypass the real problem then with a ghetto rigged up fan. ?????. the switch is only like 30-40 bucks if that is the problem.

it's very interesting how you fight your point regardless of how foolish you sound. lol. ps sorry it's a 2 wire not a 1 wire on this one. think about what you are saying for a minute acidcrakker, why would you want to fix a cooling fan issue that way? that is GHETTO RIGGED, i don't care how you wire it. a TECHNICIAN would ONLY fix it that way if it was a last resort THAT IS IT, but everyone has their own way.

you wouldn't talk to me like that if you were in front of me. it was a question, and that's how you answer. i didn't call you any names now did i. so who is the rude one? although i must admit it was kind of witty, that rudelude4ws comment. i'm surprised you have some wit i guess...

acid, go blaze some pot rather than acid and relax lol. If his cooling fan is not comming on how about checking the fuse under the hood up by the firewall?

Could be the relay maybe though! I'm hearing more and more about the relay failing. Mine failed actually too, back about 4 years ago. Thought it was the radiator, but turned out the fan was only powering up intermittantely

I had the exact same problem a while ago, and "ghetto rigged" a toggle switch tapped into the relay to turn on the fans manually at stop lights lol.

Turned out just be the thermostat switch thing after like a year of manual switching

acidcrakker your an idiot, go tell someone to check their tps like you always do you retard. you leave me a [freak]ed up pm and then try to post on everything i post on. you don't know **** about cars, you are a joke. i have a license, you have a shitty website. the only reason you even post is to try to promote your website, don't think you're fooling anyone. go help the blind, go spend your time more wisely with unicef, or the salvation army...you know where you get your food from.

haha, think what you will about me, but I was here long before you telling people to check their tps. you certifed as a mechanic. good for you. i run a diesel truck yard, im in charge of all repairs there, i dont have a lisecene or what ever you call it, because i know what im doing, thats why I was choosen over people with certificates. yeah i sent you a pm because aruging on the interwebz for all to see is a waste of internet space.

enough said, you proved your point. diesel yard, shop manager, don't actually fix anything, no license (or whatever I call it [proof again]). go away, quit playing games like a little girl. i'm tired of making posts, wasting time, to prove what everyone here knows......you're an idiot. stop it now. let it go. just admit to yourself that redlude4ws has forgotten alot more than you will ever know about cars AND trucks, and you'll be able to ALOT easier. i'm seriously tired of you, and if you knew me better, you wouldn't be playing with me NEIGHBOURHOOD CHAMPION. your just bitter, because people are tired of you all over ht

ghetto fix vs. finding the real problem.

the first can lead to more trouble and is a band aid.
the second one will not and is not a band aid

i do, however, think it is funny that you mention the TPS to everyone even when it has nothing to do with the problem.

take your car to a certified mechanic. DO NOT RIG YOUR CAR.
