Ok I've got it wired up now and it runs the same i m sure I wired it up wrong the first time. Could that of killed the sensor? I've replaced the ecu with my spare same results. Should I check the spark plugs to see if they got fouled up?

The swap is next month. I was just trying to fix up the half *** job the old owner did at wiring his map sensor it was just wires twisted together and electrical taped. I took the wires apart but I came to find out the wires are different colors on each end. So I in a very dumb move tried every combonation of wires to get it working. I now have it wired correctly. But it still idles like crap. I changed my plugs thought I fouled em witch they were. Changed my ecu to a spare I have same model. At it still idles really bad I checked vacuum lines and what not at the idle control screw I ajusted to no results. It hesistates in first gear till 2k and then takes off like normal and drives fine in the other gears. When I let off the clutch in nuetral it drops to 100rpmish and just bounces under a grand till you put it back in gear.

Have you checked your TPS, IACV?

These can also have the same effect on Idle.

MAF = Mass Air Flow sensor

MAP = Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor

Honda Prelude = no MAF, only MAP

All that matters is that you supply it with vacuum and plug in the connector.
