weirtech's fab thread
well, it seems like the popular thing to do is to start your own fabrication thread, so this is mine. i'll post some older projects in here if people are interested, but otherwise it will just be new work that i've done.
here is a car i just finished:
MK3 with a 4.0L V8.
work involved:
engine mounts, turbo manifolds, up pipes, down pipes, turbo braces, charge piping.
the intercooler has yet to be completed but it will be a vertical core with two inlets at the top and a single 3" out the bottom running over to the p/s to meet the upper charge pipe.
d/s mani:
top view:
front/under:
downpipes and up pipes:
3" dp's into 3.5" single:
d/s charge pipe:
p/s charge pipe and upper charge pipe:
ground clearance is pretty tight, but as long as the driver is careful, no issues should arise.

actually, 1.5" schedule 10 pipe is larger than the exhaust port size. i didn't post pics of the p/s header because it was in the car and i didn't feel like fighting it out.

Re: weirtech's fab thread (weiRtech)
Looking good, Billy Ray!
Seriously, looking good weiRtech. Aren't you the guy that had his own logo's on the manifolds?
EDIT: yeah you are per your avatar, no logo on these or is that a last step kinda thing?

Hey Weirtech, I see your work in person all the time... I had more than a handful of customers sporting your manifolds/fabwork, and these pictures don't do it justice Keep up the amazing fab work

Smooth but of course it's a [b4]liter V8[/b] the rod angles are low .
