car just started overheating. gotta new radiator and thermostat put in not too long ago. don't know what seems to be the prob but can someone give any kind of suggestions? i have a budget and cant pay too much to fix this car. please help!!!!

You might have air in your cooling system so bleed it.

thanks foe a response but how do you do that and what does that mean? sorry not much knowledge about cars.

you know how you flush your radiator, it has that plastic valve at the bottom, just bleed it. (open it up and let the air come out then close it quick) . this should work if not maybe latinEM2 might have a better answer.

Opening that plastic valve won't release any air at all. Air doesn't submerge in coolant, it rises to the upper most portion of the coolant level. That's why when you burp a coolant system, you usually leave the filler cap to the radiator off.
