1. remove belt
2. remove anything in your way
3. remove alternator
4. replace alternator
5. replace anything you took off to get to alternator
6. replace belt and set proper tension

Well that was descriptive?
Take off the battery's negative terminal
Take off the rubber cap and unbolt that wire on the alt
Unplug the other plug (just one wire in it if I recall)
I unbolted the power steering pump from the head to give me more access, leave everything hooked up just push it to the side. Should be 2/3 bolts.
There's a bolt on the underside of the alternator that's the tensioner, loosening that should allow you to free up the belt. It's a smaller one and can be a bitch to get to.
Back that bolt out completely (it's on some weird crescant shaped swingarm thing.
You should now have it freed up to unbolt it from the mount or from the block. Either way you can then drop in the new one.
Should take ~2 hours if it's your first time doing it.
