now yes. when i get better gun and better at painting. im open to others. painting cars that is. parts im open to anyone..

nope..i will be painting a crx tmorrow or sat gloss white.

Did you put a clear coat on the red one or did you just spray on a few coats of gloss paint?
Looks real good, I just might do this to the rex.

all the things/cars ive painted has nothing to do with clear. all rustoleum paint. mixed and shot.

im painting a rex 2morrow. today im doing some minor bodywork and covering up a bullet hole

material cost: ~$15

Saturday was a no go. did not get to lay down any paint. i was busy and finally got time to do the masking. which is now all done. sunday i will be setting up my booth and shoot it down.

heres some pix to keep you entertained. there was a fist size dent on the fender. i shaped it back and bondo'd it. also tacked in the bullet hole, shaved and bondo'd it. car was sanded down with 120-180grit wetsand.

i figured lets try to refresh the paint on the fender..god the results is super dope!

faded

sanded 1000-2000grits

rubbing compound took place.

ok im ready to start!

started with the bullet hole

then the front fender

masked

also got a new gun that imma give a shot at. got it from home depo for $60 gravity fed Husky paint gun..

enjoy

so much easier to clean than my other one..

i laid down a coat at @ 12pm. some bubbles/imperfection showed up. so i let it sit and dry so i can wet sand it down before laying down another coat. i mixed a bit thin so it was like also drippin at some part. gun that i bought, the damn air control was set to high where it shot hard.

i brought the air down and remixed the paint. im hoping to paint the car before dark.
