I have a ? about how you mix the paint to put it into the gun.
What ratio do you use?

yo whats up-

i drive an rsx, but im the one who asked about my dads lexus repaint-

it looks like this now, (this isnt our car) but the same color scheme-

my mom is a freak out and doesnt want it white (which i had planned to do)

I guess ill do it black- but im not sure what to do with the bottom?

all black top and bottom?

maybe more of a lighter gray on the bottom?

they also come in this colorway:

but i love this colorway:

the car kind of reminds me of your civic sedan- boxy and small and a four door

let me know what you think

i never pay attention to my mixing ratio really. but its not a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio..say i used half qt and i think i added mineral spirit about 3:1 or 4:1. dont quote me on that im not sure. i thin just enough to where its like soymilk but not water! enough to be able to shoot through the gun (actually see the color of the paint come out)

NEXT time i will be sure to fix the right ratio

i like this one. see how its gray on top and a darker gray at the bottom. you can do gray/black or like black/dark gray .. wish i still had my photoshop. is she interested in dark or bright colors?

i let it cure for like a week before wash. then i tried to scratch it but no scratch. unless you do it with heavy pressure it will. i buffed my car and feels just like a real paintjob and that doesnt leave any scratches

Do you get fined if you roll on the paint? Cause i know if you spray it at home you get a fine of a couple thousand, i guess from the paint going into the air.
