GSR Disk Conversion for EG
I know there are a lot of threads regarding rear disk conversions, and I have read a few of them. Long story short, I plan on getting gsr disk brakes for my 92 eg cx which I plan to use for mostly daily driving, and later on weekend track/canyon running. I just want to get some things straight before I move on and just need some clarification.
Now these are the parts I will need for an eg correct?
- Front/Rear GSR Disk Rotors (with calipers, pads, and hoses)
- GSR Trailing Arms (not a must right? but it will make things easier)
- GSR Brake Master Cylinder (1" or 15/16) I have the 1"
- GSR Brake Booster (since I already have the master cylinder, I figure I'd need the brake booster since it won't line up with the stock eg one)
- 40/40 Prop Valve
- Finally, the brake line. Here's where I'm a little iffy about. I've heard that any 2 door DC integra would work, that DA brake lines will not, nor EG brake lines UNLESS they are from an SI. Can someone please give me some insight on this?
Now is this all I will need for the conversion? Please don't comment saying rear disk conversion is pointless and blah blah... I've already read a bunch of those. This disk conversion would greatly benefit me and everyone else on the road. Help would be greatly appreciated
