i was involved in a pretty serious accident which i had no control over( i was sitting duck in the passenger seat) the driver lost control, we hit a pole while going sideways, needless to say. im pretty damn lucky to still be here today. i now have titanium rods in my legs, and i have pain every day of my life in my ankles/kness because of this.

my best friend was fataly injured in a 45mph head on collision. do you know how hard that is to live with ?

im sure many others have experianced similar situations.

build the car for the track, dont risk anything on the street. get yourself a beater for the street.

I too was in a wreck on the streets. AGREED, build it for the track. Its not worth it on the street.

I think its pretty ballsy to drive a chuted up car on the street with all the risks involved but I think its sick at the same time. Here is an old vid of the cft civic si driving to the track.

I still think that smaller turbo/small motor combos are more fun on the street. About 4 years ago I had a 500ish whp hatchback, b16/T3/67HO made no torque, and I could almost lay down all power in 2nd gear on radials.

In my opinion if you want an 800whp car, keep it on the track. Normally, its other people you have to worry about, and with that much power on the street, you are going to be making 4th gear pulls, racing, etc.

Life is too short, keep power like that on the track

it will make 7psi on the rev limiter. and 17lbs by like 5500.

I took my car up the street on slicks with 430 whp and it was WAY too fast for a 2 lane road lol The crown in the road took it everywhere. My 350 whp talon was even a little nuts at times.

260 whp was almost worse in the civic, cause it hooked in second and went lol

I can't imagine a 4th gear pull on a slick in an 800 whp car haha

since my car was built ive put about 4k mikes on the street car mad just under 700whp & thats what i drove it on cause boost was controlled by speed. it was fun for awhile but started getting old when u wanted to go fast u could not just tap the gas u had to down shift & when u did that u better be ready. anyting lower than second is uslees. just skip those gears & pedal thru 3rd till she hooked. aslo slicks were fun as well on the street but when u lowered them it was a hassle getting them back up. when im out with poeple i miss not having my car but when i get home im glade i left it.

some vids
this is my favorite vid for wheel spin i think this was a 40 roll on I95 didint hook till top of fourth. never knew it was recorded till someone told me about this vid. they said they hit 130 but for as fast as i cought him thiers no way. didnt sound like brakes were hit. listen closely when i race the ttzo6 u can hear me pedaling like crazy to hook
