Default What size font for fitting in as much notes as possible on note card to be used on final?

I have a final later this week and my professor is letting us bring in one page of notes that is 8.5 x 11. I am trying to type up as much notes as I can to take advantage of this opportunity. What type of font and size would be best where I can fit as much in as possible but without having to use a magnifying glass to read? Are there fonts besides times new roman where I can fit in more words? What size font would be ideal? I'm planning on typing up notes on different pages an then printing them out and pasting it with glue onto the final piece of paper so I don't have to worry about formatting or the margins. Thanks for the help.

It's less the font and size than it is the quality of the printer. Make sure you print your stuff out on a nice laser printer.
Ink jet will fugg you over.

i used to print the notes on a piece of paper (on the smallest font that I can read) and then cut them up and tape them to the cards. can you actually print right on the cards?

Just set the margin to 3x5 or whatever, then print and cut, voila no need to tape etc

it really depends on what size font YOU can read. like i would print it out several times to see how well or bad it works. the smallest i went before was 5.5. also take into account the fact that during a test if you are rushed or something or a little tired towards the end you are gonna have a hard time making out wut u put down if you can barely read it at home so dont go too extreme.

btw good luck

If you really feel like you need to fit that much, you've already set in stone your bad grade.

Uh, not really. Every class I had where I was allowed to do that I fit as much as I freaking could and I usually got A's or Bs.

Use a copy machine to shrink all your notes then glue them on the card.

what in like a history class?

If it is anything that requires thought, copying endless amounts of notes isn't gonna do.

I guess I made the assumption here that the class is somewhat challenging. I had an exam where you could do this the past spring semester. I worked straight for 3 hours on the test with no time to be searching all of my sheets, and got the thing in just on time. I was the first person to get up from that test btw, and I got an A+ in the class.
