Question about Uhaul service and cargo van size?

So I am moving next week into my new apartment and I have a full size bed that needs to be moved. I'm only moving things out of my room so I don't need one of the UHaul trucks but I was thinking about getting one of their cargo vans. I was wondering will my bed fit vertically in the back of one of the van? Below is a picture if the dimensions of the van.



Also how is Uhauls overall service? I'm only using it local and for one day? Any of you guys experience problems in the past? I'm going to make my reservation now so that why they have the van next friday.

Uhaul sucks. I've used them numerous times. Trucks suck and service usually sucks. You could always shove your bed in that at an angle, but then you lose some storage space for that trip.

The pick-up trucks? But than i have to make sure the bed is strapped down.

We ended up qualifying in the end. Move in date is 6/20. Even with her mortgage it worked out okay.

Screw U-Haul, Enterprise rents cargo vans. You can fit a full mattress and springs vertically.

Yeah enterprise is 102.xx after taxes and stuff where-as U-Haul is $19.95 + $0.59 for every mile. I will have a trip if 50 miles max. I also have to fill that sucker up which is going to cost a arm and a leg @ 15 mpg.

We paid 200? I think for a ginormous Uhaul truck with the cargo bed (covered) That was for 24 hours. And went ~300 miles in it.

I put my full size bed in it too - along with boxspring, couch, loveseat, etc

Now in your case im assuming its one of the box truck ones but ucb was saying "truck" and I couldnt figure out if he meant pick-up truck or a box truck.

you still need a deposit with uhaul. and there's some hidden fees in there (that i sure as hell didnt know about before i got the truck). call em up and see exactly how much uhaul will be

Yeah it was a box truck, it's worth the $$ I couldn't think of the name haha. Ours was more pricey because we had it for 24 hours and drove 300 miles
