Well since this thread is still going. I talked to Evo industries a week ago and they said they were releasing a kit for DA, EF's soon. I know it has been already talked about and Im not sure on the release date. But they also were talking about coming out with an h2b hood. I really hope this is true. Hope so.

if the evo kit clears the hood, why would they need to make an h2b hood??

The Evo kit will not clear the EF, DA kit the guy told me. This is all over the phone and not written in stone though.

This pic doesn't really give you an idea of how the hood looks in relation to the fender but I guess you kinda get the idea...

Nooooo. =X hahaha. Yea Seth hooked it up. They are solid so they keep the hood very sturdy.

I modified mine today so I can open the hood all the way. I'll post pics later.

You will definitely see me with my car out there at Sac Raceway. I'm just finishing all the small stuff to button everything up. I just gotta fix the wheel bearing on my boys truck so I got a tow and everything's good to go...

Correct. Hood webbing cut near cam gears, Cut down oil cap, no PCV, MAP mounted on the bottom of the throttle body.

Here are the pics of the modified QSD hood poppy things. haha...

I cut them down a lil bit and then I offset drilled the holes, I used them as a base for my hood hinges. Instead of using them as a spacer in between the hood and the hinge, I put them in between the body and the hinge. This allows the hood to open all the way.

here are some pics...

Buy a jdm style hood, or a regular jdm hood. it will fit your car, it will just have small gaps by the corners of the healdights

nice looking dc.

This is a 1-off fiberglass hood. Its is a first attempt at making a hood. Its not the nicest shape, but its real light and fits decent.
