Need replacement tweeters for 96 - 98 civic
So I finally decided to tear apart my door to put my window back on track, and in my usual fashion, I broke something else in the process. The victim this time happened to be the tweeter.
So simple question - what's a high quality replacement that will fit in the factory location? I want it to look as close to factory as possible. TIA.

What kind of system are you running that you would want to replace a stock tweeter with a "high quality replacement" one? 94
PS, with quality comes expense.

why dont you just call pioneer parts and order another set of the oem ones. the pioneer part number is on the magnet.

If you don't have a set of aftermarket components adding an expensive tweeter will offset things. Personal opinion, I've had Infinity components and their tweeters are too harsh for my ears.

It's a drag car, so the system has long since been removed for weight savings... Just factory speakers w/ an alpine HU now. But I play music non-stop to drown out the plethora of loud noises I have to endure during daily driving.

Oh. Maybe I'll try that.

I just figured that if I have to replace the tweeters, I might as well upgrade in the process, especially since aftermarkets are generally cheaper than OEM replacements.
