Re: 1990-1993 Integra automatic to manual transmission conversion
Hey I'm about to do this swap this weekend on the 24th but I've got a few questions. I've got a 90 donor car to convert a 93 to a manual but I was wondering if the ecu from the 90 will work in the 93? I'm doing this to my daily/only mode of transportation so I don't want to do the swap then be left without a running car because of the ecu not working, that would be bad real bad. Please get back to me ASAP! Thanks!

So I just did my swap in my 90 integra and its all good but I can't get the key to come out of the ignition. Any ideas on how to get it out of the ignition switch?

i know this thread is old but its the only thread about this topic. so can some one help me? im planning to do this conversion but on the part where he took out the auto shifter im confused. the exhaust was running under it but then in the next pic he had his shifter and linkage right where the exhaust was. if i were to do the swap, would i need a different exhaust?

connect the yellow wire from the transmission switch to the yellow wire in the 12 pin connector.
connect the green wire from the switch to the green/black wire in the 12 pin connector.
im swapping a b16a(jdm) engine
so the yellow and green wires are on the tranny? so i connect them straight from the tranny to the 12 pin connectors? my wires are green and green/black s80 hydro trans
and how do i install the vss since its a 3 pin connector instead of the one connector to the cluster
all i need is the stock b18a (automatic) wiring harness and the stock ecu?

Also for cruise control run 2 wires from ponk and black wires from switch on pedals and run them 2 the 12 pin connector were old automatic shifter was the wire are pink and black splice them together now cruise control will work plus instead of wireing the 2 thick black wires together to start car run 2 wire to clutch pedal interlock switch above cruise control switch and wire those 2 wires to the fat black wires doesnt matter which way it just sends power connecting two wire together when you push pedal down

is there a junkyard solution for cable to hydraulic clutch conversion? without having to spend 300 on aftermarket stuff?
