Default Aux IPod connector for factory stereo

I have a 2005 TSX with the factory 6 disc changer. I was just wondering if anyone has purchased an aftermarket or factory IPod adapter. I don't want to use FM modulators. Has anyone had any experience with these products?

I have a DICE kit. Works great has two modes one where the deck fully controls it and another that allows you to use the click wheel on the iPod to control it (which i have it on) which still allows you to skip tracks via the deck / steering wheel controls but doesn't sync the title of the song to the deck. But it works great with my iPod video and my iPhone.

Thats for the R2 kit you will need to get the R3 kit (non navi) and the R4 (kit if you have navi)

The sound quality is excellent (as good as you can get out of an ipod)

Its a super easy install. Just pull out the section under the radio / climate control. Then feel around the aux connector is on the bottom of the radio so just plug in the unit and you should be good to go. then just run the wires.

Boosted_F22B DO NOT BUY THE DICE R3 OR R4 KIT. If you have a Canadian car the TEXT function will not work on any Canadian TSX. I had my fair dealings with Gig Harbour and DICE.

The kit does work as far as steering wheel controls it does everything BUT DISPLAY TEXT on the stock deck. I currently have the R3 kit installed in my 05 non-navi and the kit does not display TEXT. DICE even sent me a 2nd R3 unit and it doesn't display TEXT.

If you don't care for the TEXT function I live in Toronto and will gladly sell you my DICE unit. Like is said it works perfectly fine BUT does not DISPLAY text.

Sound quality is 100% better than the FM units that i was using before.

I have the DICE R4 kit and I have text on my navi screen as well as the part where our clock is. I can control it all via steering wheel, which is the best part.
Getting text support on the screen, you have to disconnect the XM plug in the trunk, otherwise the XM will bleed through; which also means if you want text, you may as well cancel XM too since you won't be using it.
Sound Quality is comparable to CD quality

I know that it doesn't support text. Look at the display of the Canadian CD player, the 6 disk symbol in the middle of the screen wont allow for it. The reason that it doesn't suport text is because we have a CD/AUX button instead of sirius as an auxillary. The U.S. model has a sirius auxillary so the CD player already supports text.

I don't really care about the text on the CD player. I knew that it didn't support it before i bought it. I wish i would have known that you had one for sale the other day. I would have bought it from you instead of on-line. Thanks for the heads up though.

quick question. what colour is the auxillary harness, for the non-navi in-dash 6 CD player?
