rack and pinion boot replacement question!! help!
my boot started to leak yesterday and made a clickin sound when i drive,
I bought the replacement boot kit and have all the parts but my question is
hows the proper way to put grease inside the boot and how much amount should i put??

I am in a similar situation where my 97 Civic DX (D16Y7) has a minor leak from the right side tie-rod boot of the steering gearbox. In my case, however, I think the leak is power steering fluid from a bad end seal. Do you also have power steering? If so, might your leak also be power steering fluid. Also, is it possible that your clicking sound is actually due to bad CV axles?
