Yes most of the wires are there. This has been covered!

If his car came with the security option he will find horn, doors, dome light, trunk and ign all behind the radio. I think the parking lights are back there too but can't remember. It's a green connector. I know on the 99-00 the parking light wire is there as well but can't remember about the 96-98 model as it's way different. Id say that classifies as "most" wouldn't you?

Also, my wire diagram is better (seeing as yours has no mention of the stock keyless connector behind the radio)

I checked Wire Magic at work and it also gives door locks, trunk/hatch and door pin, but nothing else. 94

You can use the park light free pin on the under dash fuse box. 94

Do you have the alarm hooked up to the yellow ignition wire? This usually resets the system, I thought.

As I said, there is a park light free pin on the under dash fuse box.

If you did not install the remote start relay pack, [heavy gauge wires] the alarm has no ign. input.

If you are not installing the remote start, use the yellow lead in the ribbon harness that goes to the relay pack, all you need on the ribbon wire plug is the yellow lead, de-pin the rest, connect it to your cars ign. lead, [black/yellow]. 94

Yes, it is the park light free pin, it can be used as an output or an input, in fact it can be used as an input, [from alarms light flash output] and an output, [to lights in extra gauges] at the same time. 94

Not really, it should be hooked to the yellow or black yellow wire.

You can make the connection to the ign. lead at the other end of the ign. switch harness, no need to take the column trim off, " i dont have to take apart my stering colom agin" or you can find any "true" ign. source, [hot in run and start] and make the connection there, but only if you are using the yellow in the ribbon harness, [remote start not being installed]. 94

would the 12v acc off of the fuse box be a "true" ign source? if not what would be because i hooked up the pink wire to it and it does not reset the system

No acc is acc not ign, it drops power when you "start" the car.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by turbo-2nr &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">would the 12v acc off of the fuse box be a "true" ign source? if not what would be because i hooked up the pink wire to it and it does not reset the system </TD></TR></TABLE> Sorry, my dumb mistake, it is the yellow lead in the ribbon harness, not the pink lead. 94

PS If you connect the yellow lead to an acc. it will not function properly.
