It'd sound just like a typical Turbo setup.
The reason you get more audio feedback from an ITB setup, is due to the open air access to the cylinder head. Making a turbo application with an ITB would close off this access.

With a GT28R it'll be hella responsive though...

True, but that doesn't change the audio aspect of it.

Turbo'd ITB's have a very different sound when you initially crack the throttle, but that's about it. The sound difference has alot more to do with throttle response than anything. Higher up in the RPM range there isn't an audible difference at all, like you said, it just sounds like a regular intake.

Re: (GoldLudeRay)
doesn't look like a "top feed" setup to me... I was under the impression that "top feed" meant the injector squirted in the velocity stack before the throttle plates.

Re: (ku)
hammer time.
there is no new wild technology here people, they are just 20 yr old toyota throttle bodies disigned for the 4AGE, with an adapter plate for a pr3 honda head. same as toda. they bore them out a little bit for the high flowing honda head.
thats it. no secret voodoo, nothing new.
700 bucks is a bargain to most who dont know, but these throttle bodies can be found on ebay or at a pick-n-pull for 100-200 bucks, the trick is getting an adapter plate made. thats all.
its toyota oem quality.
also, you can get the toyota "plenum" that covers these in the stock carollas if you wanted.

The actuall throttle bodies are OEM Toyota, so I would. The only part the OBX makes is the manifold and stacks.

Re: (Zaraki)
Quality over how shity the brand is... ebay turbo kits make power. they might be made the cheap way. but hey for a kid out of high school that good!. so 700 for itbs wich go for over 1400. i think is ok. but the quality of them might be ebay crap. but i bet they make power

OBX= $700
TODA Racing = $2650 (king motorsports price)
My math says even if I have to replace every part on the OBX setup 3 times It's still a good deal!
Even if you buy the kit just for the stacks and the adapter plate! at $200 bucks each even if you had to buy 4 OEM toyota throttle bodies and get them ported you would still be ahead lol!
