Default 3 bolt post mount to a 2 bolt?

How would i go about doing this? Is there a reason i shouldn't do it? The reason why i ask is because i found a good deal on a set of after market mounts that are for a 2 bolt post mount and my 01 ls is a 3 bolt.

thank you in advance

Local Honda dealer or junkyard should be able to fix you up.

Thanks again for the help

where did you buy the mount kit ?? you should just change it out to a 3 bolt.. if not you can use a JDM b16 or a 99-00 Si driver side post mount... CRV will not work its too tall.!! if you need a 2 bolt post mount i think we got one at the shop...

There is a difference between the 99-00 Civic Si timing belt cover mount from the Acura Integra's. The spacing between the two bolts are different. The Acura Integra 94-01 LS/RS is the one your looking for. I'm suprised that you have a 3 post set-up on an LS. Someone must of swapped it out. Any hope this helps.

I think mine is a 3 bolt. It has 2 big bolts coming up through the motor mount and it6 appears to be a smaller bolt going down. Is that considered a 3 bolt? And yeah all of this is helping a lot. Thanks

I've used teh CRV one with a stock civic steel mount with success before. Unless somebody had switched it before hand to a 99-00 Si bracket.

no, the SOHC and DOHC bracket(the piece with the studs and no rubber bushing. Bolts up the the actual engine block) are a different size.

the post mount from a 92-95 Si will not bolt up to a B-series block though.
