*** NE Expo 8 Caravan Thread ***

[RTW DC2R]

New Englanders...Here is a meet location for the caravan starting in MASS at 3am, and meeting up with the NYC caravan at 7am.



NYC AREA, you know the drill.

Meet at the Plaza Diner in Fort Lee early Sunday at 7am (address and map below) Leave Fort Lee by 730am WE WAIT FOR NO ONE!! we leave no later than 7:30
take NJTP/95 to I-78 west to I-81 south to VA
pick people up along the way
meet other caravans if possible for last leg of our trip
arrive at track early evening on Sunday around 5:30-6pm if we keep a good pace and dont stand around all day while fueling up and/or food/breaks/pick up others/whatever

Directions from Fort Lee:
NJTP South to I78 West
to I81 South
Take Exit 221 for I64 East
Take Exit 99 for US250, merge onto US250
Turn right at Critzers Shop Rd/VA-151, Continue to follow VA-151
Turn left at VA-6
Turn right at Thomas Nelson Hwy/US-29 South, Continue to follow US-29 South
Exit onto US-29 S/US-460 W toward Lynchburg/Danville
Merge onto US-29 S via the ramp to Airport/Danville
Merge onto S Boston Rd/US-360 E/US-58-BR E
Continue to follow S Boston Rd/US-360 E
Turn right at VA-62, Entering North Carolina
Continue on NC-62
Continue on NC-57
Turn left at Race Track Rd, Entering Virginia
Continue on Pointer Rd
Turn left at Pine Tree Rd

disclaimer: all noted times are estimated guesstimates, based on NYC caravan leaving at/near 730am. this is subject to change. WE WAIT FOR NO ONE!!
