Annual Griffith Park EF Meet - Saturday June 7th, 2008

Time for another EF meet in Socal! We have scheduled it to be on a Saturday by popular demand and we have worked out issues with the rangers at the park to have this meet be legit and dont have to worry about getting kicked out
PARKING IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE! SO BE THERE ON TIME!
WHAT: Annual Socal EF meet
WHEN: Saturday, June 14th 2008
TIME: 10am-4pm
WHERE: Griffith Park in Los Angeles At The Merry-Go-Round Lot #3
Address: 4800 Crystal Springs Drive
Food Situation: TBD
"Legal Issues": We have notified the rangers of this meet and they have agreed not kick us out or hassle us as long as we follow the parks rules and dont cause any trouble.
Rules: NO SPEEDING, park speed limit is 25MPH and we have agreed to follow this rule in order to have this meet! NO ALCOHOL, NO BURNOUTS, NO REVVING, NO PARKING LOT DRIFTING OR ANY OF THAT CRAP! Anyone who chooses to do these types of things will be asked to leave. Please do not park in the handicap spots at the park or you will be cited by the park ranger.
Directions: Get off the 5 freeway at Los Feliz Blvd and drive toward the hill and enter the park. You will be on a divided roadway. You should also notice that it's posted with a 25 MPH speed limit!
Look for the signs for the Merry-Go-Round and hang a left. (The rangers office is on the right) If you get to where the road combines (no longer a divided road), you have gone too far.
The road will lead you through several parking lots and you are looking for the last one (#3). The road goes upward and toward the right (north) and then finally goes downward (still curving toward the right).
It's a large, isolated parking lot and is not visable from the main roads that go through park.
If you get hopefully lost, ask a park ranger for directions to "Shane's Inspiration". It's a handicapped children's area that is serviced from this lot.
Once again; there are two lots in this area and the amount of people that we could handle is massive! As a result, I personally don't have a problem if non-EF guys show up. However, I'd really like to see the EF's in one area.
