SoHonda Garage EG Hatch Build up pt. 2!! New for 08'
Considering how long my last buildup thread became, it is far past the point of indexing the whole thing, so I decided to make a new thread, keep it indexed, and keep it to the point.
You can also check out the original thread which will have the same updates as well as whatever is new with the rest of the crew and friends
I'll also keep any build related parts for sale posted here on the first page with links to the thread...

Re: SoHonda Garage EG Hatch Build up pt. 2!! New for 08' (SHG_EasyE)
And here was my little project for tonight....
I finally got my much anticipated package from Greg @ JDMSpeedworx, including the wheel, hub, stickers etc.
Since the Splash hub is somewhat small, i opted to get a 1" spacer. Unfortunatly the spacer's inner diameter was too big for the horn button to press against and ground out, so i had to do a little fanagaling...
First, i notched out a little section where the horn would usually ground
Then i drilled and tapped a hole to connect a male connector to the hub, once installed a ran some solder over it to guarantee good conductivity. (the screw is out of the back of an NES controller )
Next, i dug around in my box of wire and got some 14g green wire for the ground, and soldered it onto the ground band of the horn button.
I then attached the female end of the connector.
I connected my power and ground, and bolted everything up . (look at how close i got the finish of the spacer to the finsih of the hub, this was done before i got the hub by looking at a picture online for reference )
