Re: are there 24000k (GSR-TRBO-DA)
ummm no.
24,000-kelvin would be deep into the ultraviolet region, which you should know is invisible to the human eye.
Most color temperature scales you see around the internet don't even go above 10,000-kelvin.
Whoever printed that box just put 24,000K on it to try to make it sell, because most people have been brainwashed into thinking that the higher the color temperature, the better the HID kit, which is just a flat-out lie.

24000k?! wow...thats only about 20,000k higher than what lexus uses....close tho
coming from someone who has used an 8000k kit and then upgraded to an oem setup, i cant imagine why people would get anything about about 6k. i punch myself in the nuts everytime i think back to the days that i thought the 8s looked awesome

Those are 4300K.
The super-high Kelvin HID kits are worthless both in the amount of light output and the way in which the human eye perceives the light itself.

If you want to get the color output of a Lexus either get a lexus or retrofit the OEM HID components (including the projectors) of the Lexus itself. Getting colored bulbs won't get you there. The optics of hte projectors are what gives it the unique color.

Re: are there 24000k (accordselux)
if you're planning on having HIDs put on your car, I'd suggest having a retrofit done. Most halogen headlights weren't designed to have HIDs in them, cause when you do just put a PnP kit in, you'll have hot spots, glare, and not too much light focused onto the street like you'd want it to me. When putting the proper projectors in your housings, your light will be focused onto the street like they're suppose to be

I can guarantee my LED 2-D-cell MagLight has more lumens than 24000K HID headlights would.

24 kelvins on the color temperature scale would be pretty close to just black, i.e. no light at all.
I was reading a site today saying that the scale shown on their site didn't go below 2000K because anything below 1900K or so would be so intensely red that a computer monitor couldn't even display it correctly.
Buy yeah, 24K is pretty much black.

Actually, your title states "24000k", and your post states 24k.
Neither of those temperatures would be visible light, so the point is irrelevant. Any kit labelled either 24,000K or "24K" is going to be useless from a performance standpoint.

Re: are there 24000k (Padawan)
and neither would either number be a true representation of the kit's actual light output.
I saw an array of pics supposedly representing various color outputs of kits sold by someone here on H-T, and it went all the way to 24,000K, which it showed as purple... it even showed 15,000K as green!!! *THUD*

I've chosen not to lock it because it's informative to those who think these super-high Kelvin kits are a good choice. Most people don't understand that OEM HIDs are 4300K, and the purple/blue flicker is and effect generated by the projector, while the actual light output is white.

Re: (Padawan)
IMHO once you're over 8000K, what's the point of even turning your headlights on? It's more for color and style at that point than function
Function>Form
IIRC, it's something like this
3000K - Yellow
4300K - Pure White
5000K - White with slightest hint of blue
6000K - More Blue
8000K - Straight Blue, heading towards purple
10000K - Purple
